INTERNATIONAL CALENDER OF EVENTS
At present there are three International Championships between nations and
another for the Champion county/zone teams from each Nation in the British Isles.

BRITISH ISLES MAIN CHAMPIONSHIPS - For the full national teams from the British Isles.
This is an annual event held every November and in 2010 will be staged in Norther Ireland.
The probable dates are
Friday 19th & Saturday 20th November.
BRITISH ISLES "A" TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS - For national second teams from the British Isles.
This event alternates datewise with the World Championships every other year.
The next event will be in March 2011. Dates and venue to be confirmed.
WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPs - These are held every two years at present.
The next event will be in Dumfries over the weekend of the 20th & 21st March 2010.
A full team consists of 2 Singles, 2 Pairs, 2 Triples and 2 Fours, making 20 players in total.
Currently all nations are encouraged to participate,
however small the entry, from just a single player upwards.
In 2012 the event may be held in Northern Ireland. In 2014 it will be Wales turn. 2016 has no venue at present; 2018 England, 2020 Belgium and 2022 Scotland.
NOTE: it is possible that the dates and hosts may be moved up to fill the 2016 slot - watch this space.
