JAPAN - DRAFT PAGE

In the late 1980's several Short Mat bowling carpets were shipped to Japan by Bury Cooper Whitehead, the then owners of Regalgrene carpets. Several sets of bowls were also sent out and the rules of the sport were translated into Japanese. Regretfully, I do not have a copy.
No feedback has been received but it is to be hoped that there is a group of enthusiasts playing somewhere in Japan, blissfully unaware of the hundred thousands plus who play elsewhere in the World. Hopefully via our pages on the internet, we may one day establish contact or find out what happened to the mats and equipment.
